NCLS2021 Survey & Illawarra mini-survey

media
Last year, Together for the Illawarra in partnership with Nayba (the new name for the Cinnamon Network International); conducted a Faith action audit to measure community engagement by faith-based organisations here in the Illawarra ( Press Release - https://togetherfortheillawarra.org.au/news/det/illawarra-cfaa-press-release/15/

NCLS Survey

This year, Together for the Illawarra has the privilege of partnering with the National Church Life Survey (NCLS) team to measure / benchmark some facets of Gospel progress in the Illawarra.  This survey is conducted every five years.

We want to invite you, in what we acknowledge are complex circumstances due to Covid, to participate in the NCLS survey.  As one pastor suggested the survey may give some good insights into what is actually going on within our congregations given so much is now "online".

Further, your participation is profitable for us here in the Illawarra. While each participating church receives their own confidential report, this data can be aggregated into a relevant Illawarra summary report. Note that in the summary report individual church data is not discernable.
Attached is the Illawarra Summary report from NCLS 2016, to demonstrate what we can achieve together.

To participate in the full survey, see the NCLS brochure here.

ILLAWARRA Mini-Survey

If your church is not able to participate in the full survey, NCLS has kindly offered an alternative as part of our collaboration (Illawarra mini-survey).
NCLS are willing to collect a small amount of individual church data (e.g. weekly attendance and number of newcomers in the last 12 months), which will be released only in a summary form for the whole of the Illawarra.

We pray that these key figures can be used to stimulate further collaboration that leads to improved evangelism and discipling strategies for the Body of Christ in the Illawarra.  This data also has the potential to provide us with an accurate benchmark against which we can measure our collective progress.
