Illawarra Thanks 2022

media

On Behalf of Together for the Illawarra, I would like to thank you again for your willingness, collaboration and unity in organising Illawarra Thanks 2021 during the Illawarra Prayer Breakfast.

Last year we visited organisations across our community and armed with awards, gifts and certificates, we have made it clear that we were thankful for them and we honour what they do for our community.

Below are some of the photos taken on Illawarra Thanks 2021. Check it out!

This year, during the Illawarra Prayer Breakfast on May 27th we would like to invite you and your Church to thank School teachers in the Illawarra for their above and beyond care, teaching, love for their children and commitment to their schools.

Our heart is to thank and honour the teachers in our Illawarra community. We found that the best way to do that is to thank the Teachers from a chosen School.

We want School Teachers to be thanked for their efforts - face to face - during the course of the week or on May 27th after the IPB 2022.

  • So, what is the criteria?

The Illawarra Thanks 2022 award receptors must be:

Illawarra School Teachers from:

  1. High or Primary School - Your Church should choose a Primary and/or High School - You can choose 2 schools if you really want to :)
  2. School by suburb - Your chosen school must be near your local church (5km radius distance)
  3. Illawarra Local School Teachers deserve our honour and respect. They have adapted to e-learning through the Pandemic Season and gave their school children the best of their time, effort, patience and love.

  • How about the Award?

Together for the Illawarra is happy to cover the cost of the award/certificates to be given to the teachers of each school. Any other complement gifts should be covered by individual churches.

Note: Awards are to be given to Local School Teachers from a High or Primary School as a team not as an individual.

The award should be given to the Teacher’s representatives of the chosen schools on behalf of all the churches in the Illawarra (Together for the Illawarra)

I am looking forward to speaking and hearing from you soon and answering any questions that you may have. It is my honour to be a part of the thanksgiving culture in our community.

"And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body.

And be thankful." (Colossians 3:15)

Kind Regards,

Heloisa Nuske (on behalf of Together for the Illawarra)
