Illawarra Thanks 2021

media

For the past nine years, Illawarra Prayer Breakfast has been carrying a heart for prayer, unity, and thanksgiving for churches in the Illawarra. As thanksgiving is one of our core values, each year we have had the privilege to align with the National Day of Thanks by giving awards to individuals on behalf of the Illawarra Prayer Breakfast. This year we are doing something different. We are going out - visiting organisations to say thank you on behalf of the churches of the Illawarra.

Together for the Illawarra has consulted with a team of local churches in spirit of collaboration. We want to express our thanks and honour to some of our community professionals, volunteers and non-profit organisations in the Illawarra. We will be going out to the following organisations on the 28th and 29th May:

  • SAHSSI (Supported Accommodation & Homelessness Services Shoalhaven Illawarra)
  • WWIS (Wollongong Women’s Information Service)
  • Shellharbour Hospital
  • Shellharbour Scouts
  • Dr. Annette Beaufils - Helensburgh GP

“So how can you get involved?”

There are two ways you can support us this National Day of Thanks.
