Speakers
Dale Stephenson — Senior Pastor, Crossway Baptist Church
Dale Stephenson pastors the largest Baptist church in Australia. He is committed to seeing Australian Christians empowered with simple and replicable means of empowering "Disciples that Multiply."
Dale's church is living the dream with 31% of the Church actively involved in discipling someone on a journey to Jesus. He has an enthusiastic approach to making disciples with a contagious delight in Jesus.
Currently, Crossway Baptist Church is working with 18 denominations in the nation across three disciple making movement initiatives: Building a Discipling Culture, COACH Network and Empowered Faith Communities. Crossway, through its networks, has seen over 20,000 churches planted internationally amongst the least unreached people groups of the world.
Dr Stephenson is a Doctor of Divinity and has a Master's Degree in Church Leadership. Dale and Edi live in Melbourne and have been married for 40 years. They have four adult children and six grandchildren.
Paul Joshua (PJ) Bedwell — National Director, Youth for Christ
After studying Medical Science and Medicine at the University of Sydney, Paul left his medical career to pursue a calling to raise a new generation of disciple-makers.
In 2021, PJ joined Youth for Christ as director of What's Normal – a national initiative tackling addiction, screen dependency, and pornography through gospel-centred solutions. From high school scripture teaching to national strategy, PJ continues to champion grassroots gospel engagement and discipleship.
Before becoming the National Director of Youth for Christ in 2025, PJ was the youth minister at St Andrews Anglican Church, Cronulla. PJ and his wife Mikaela have three young children. He believes every young person in Australia deserves the opportunity to know Jesus and be equipped to make Him known.
