An excellent opportunity for further ministry training is now available with the Anglicare Introductory Pastoral Care Course. This course is highly recommended as a foundation for all bible study leaders and pastoral care teams. It is also a mandatory pre-requisite for anyone who wishes to serve in hospital chaplaincy.
The training is being promoted post-Easter to help encourage members to engage in ongoing pastoral care education.
Upcoming local courses include:
- Shellharbour Anglican: Five consecutive Fridays in May—1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th.
- St Michael's Anglican Cathedral: Thursdays in November—5th, 12th, 19th, 26th, and December 3rd.
- Park Rd Anglican @ South Carlton: Saturdays from July 25th to August 22nd (Note: This course is not yet listed on the Anglicare website).
